Refugees crisis in Europe

Editorial published on February 25, 2016

In France, the south part of the Calais jungle was supposed to be removed on Tuesday night, without any alternative solution for the evicted refugees. On the other hand, Belgium is reestablishing border controls with France to prevent the Calais refugees from entering the country. In the United Kingdom, some of the Brexit supporters are advocating for hermetical borders. Austria is dissociating itself from Germany with more restricted quotas. The Balkan route is progressively closing and Greece remains alone to deal with a considerable inflow of refugees coming every day… Our weekly cartoon selection to summarize the tragic migrants’ situation.
