Cartooning for Peace in Ivory Coast!

From March 16 to 18, Grand-Bassam becomes the comics and press cartoons capital city, celebrating the ninth art in all its dimensions. For this occasion, Cartooning for Peace joins Tache d’encre, the association of Ivorian cartoonists which organizes every two years Cocobulles, the Comics and press cartoons International Festival of Grand-Bassam.

The festival gathers cartoonists from the entire world in order to offer 3 days of exhibitions, workshops, conferences, meetings, movies projections and signing sessions. The 2017 edition counts with the presence of cartoonists coming from all over the planet such as Glez (Burkina), Khalil (Palestine), Plantu (France), Uri Fink (Israel), Vadot (Belgium) and Willis from Tunis, (Tunisia) meeting under the thematic of “Cartoon, Democracy and Development”.
