Ramiz Erer is one of several Turkish cartoonists who speak with great freedom in Istanbul. She has been working for ten years for Radikal, the third largest daily paper in Turkey, and also contributes to the satirical magazine Leman. She deals primarily with relations between men and women and is particularly known for her series of drawings entitled Kötü Kiz (bad girl).
