Matador (Julio César González) was born in Pereira in 1969. He began his career at the newspaper El Fuete and Comfamiliar, a specialized magazine in Cinema. His cartoons are published in Diario del Otún, La Tarde, El espectador and Soho. He is currently the cartoonist of the newspaper El Tiempo.
